David Anderson Blair went to be with our Lord on December 9, 2024. David was born on November 26, 1967 in Xenia, Ohio and grew up both there and in West Liberty, Kentucky. He worked as a master carpenter in Ohio and Florida and owned a framing business. He loved music, hunting, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Blair; his step-mother, Dorothy Blair; and his grandparents, Clarence & Rissie Blair and Bill & Lois Era Sellers.
He is survived by wife of nearly forty years, Melissa Blair; his son, Vaughan Anderson Blair; his mother, Brenda Blair; his brothers, Jamey Blair (Sheila), Brian Blair (Samantha), and Gregory Cantrell (Sam); his sister, Paula Blair; his nephews, Shawn (Kayla), Cameron (Kaitlyn), Nathan, Devon (Skyler), James Jacob (Sierra), and Bentley; his nieces, Ashley (Jesse), Kimberly (Hunter), Lera (Devon), Jenna, Heaven (Brayden), Alissa (Jonathon), Alyssa, and Kailey; his great-nephews and great-nieces, Shayla, Kylie Maci, Khaleesi, Karter, Khalaya, Ryler, Riggs, Rook, Oliver, Landon, Cora, Liam, Kayson, Marshal, Jamison, and Tierra; his mother-in-law, Jacqueline Woods; his brothers-in-law, Brandon Woods (Kristi), Matthew Dunphy, Steven Dunphy, and Corey Thomas; and his sisters-in-law, Carissa House-Dunphy and Cora Sitter (Jamie).
There will be a celebration of his life in his beloved hills of eastern Kentucky in the spring.
