David Allen Smith, 53, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away at his home on Monday, February 1, 2016. He was an avid football fan and loved the Kentucky Wildcats. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, watching NASCAR and listening to Conway Twitty.
David was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 20, 1962 to the late Albert E. & Helen H. (Helbig) Smith.
David is survived by his sons, Raymond Smith & David Smith; sister, Becky Smith; and grandchildren, Justin Smith & Jasmine Westbury.
Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Saturday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
