David A. Davis

David A. Davis, 55, of Louisville, passed away on December 12, 2015. David was born on Long Island, NY on July 24, 1960, to the late Charles and Doris Davis. He was proud veteran of the Army and Coast Guard. He enjoyed visiting Churchill Down in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife of four years, Debora Kaye Scoggins Davis; step-children, Leandra Grimes, Greg Myers, and Katie Boyte; grandchildren, Kelli, Traci, Alie, and Jacob; sisters, Sharon Hicks and Kim Webster; brothers, Michael Davis and Donald Pittman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral ceremony will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central in Radcliff, KY following military honors at 10:00 am Friday, December 18, 2015.
