Dave York

Dave York, 71, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

He was born on April 13, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William and Nancy (Baker) York. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph York, Geri Nation and Hubert York.

Dave is survived by his loving children, Michelle Gamble (Taylor), Lisa York, Michael York (Maranda), Allen York (Becky); ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three siblings, Rudy York, Frank York and Christine Hardin.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).

The family requests that contributions in Dave’s memory be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Kentucky/West Virginia Chapter (1941 Bishop Ln # 108, Louisville, KY 40218).
