Daryl Martin Thomas

Daryl (DT) Thomas, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. Daryl loved spending time with his mother and father and his children and grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the UofL Cardinals and always kept a smile on his face and never complained. He was affectionately known as "Smiley".

He was born on October 11, 1965 in Union City, Tennessee to Dave and Lucille (Wilson) Thomas. He is preceded in death by his Twin Brother, Dave Thomas, Brother, Angelo Thomas and Step-Son, Sherman Stewart, .

Daryl is survived by his Loving Wife of 12 years, Brenda Thomas: Father, Dave Bolden Thomas, Mother, Lucille W Thomas: Children, Tiffany Dickerson, Daryl Q. Thomas, and Dezmond Thomas: Step-Children, Shaquanda Banks, Shalonda Smith, Shakeena Smith, and Milton Smith: 13 Grandkids: Special Cousin, Morris (Lil Rick) Wilson, Niece, Brittany Mapp. As well as a host of Family and Friends to cherish his loving memory.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, (). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Daryl's memory be made to Hospice.
