Daryl Scott "Rink" Burba

Daryl Scott Burba, widely known as "Rink" was welcomed into this world on December 17, 1969 and taken in the early morning hours of December 23, 2024, at his home in Louisville, KY.   He was a great and loving son, brother, husband, dad and grandfather.  Rink was a great man, honest and simple man.  He knew how to handle any and every situation, even the ones he wasn't sure about he reassured "that everything's all good, it'll all work out."  Rink was a hard worker and provided for his family until his las day.  He took pleasure in a good meal; he would try any food and he enjoyed a cold brew on a relaxing day.  One of the fondest memories was his 38th birthday were we sat up all night eating a generous portion, maybe a deathly amount of tiger shrimp, drank wine and listen to the oldies.  Rink would do anything for anybody.  He found joy in helping others; everyone that knew him would vouch that Rink was one of kind.  He rooted for other peoples accomplishments and happiness; he put others need before his own.  He made it seem so easy to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. Although his time was cut short, we were blessed to haver know him and even more so to have been loved by him.  

As you pay your final rest, we feel a sense of peace to know you can lay down the heavy weight basking in the serenity and the rest you so well deserved and earned until we meet again. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Burba, Russell "Dinky" Burba, Ronald "Ronlee"  Burba and Bobby Burba and brother-in-law, James "Tony" Hayse

Rink leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Tammy Burba; daughter, Kami Jo; sons, Daryl, Dylon and Dalton Burba; parents, Donna and Jim Burba; grandchildren, Noah, Darion, Virginia, Kaylee, Shaela, Kami, Colson, Dylon, Jr.,  River, Zayden and Kayden; mother-in-law, Judy Ellis; sister-in-law, Jennifer Hayse and brother-in-law, Shawn Shepherd.

A celebration of Rink's life will be at a later date.
