Daryl Wayne Barnes of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on February 1, 2016. He was born on June 7, 1957, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Harry and Gloria (Walker) Barnes. Daryl was a good mechanic and enjoyed collecting diecast model cars.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Cheryl Baker and Gloria Jean Shemwell, brother, Michael Barnes. He is survived by his children, Dallas Barnes (Jessica) and Joseph Barnes; sister, Evelyn Barnes; brothers, Mark Huff, Marty Barnes, Raymond Barnes, Wayne Barnes, and Jamie Rauck; and six grandchildren, Devon, Jacob, Dayna, Dylan, Braiden, and Reagan.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
