Darryl Philip Stewart

Darryl Philip Stewart, age 76 of Taylorsville, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019. He was born November 2, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Clayton Philips and Mary Catherine Lanham Stewart. He retired from General Electric in April of 1999 after 32 years of service. Darryl is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol. J. Stewart.
Darryl is survived by his loving children, Kenny Stewart (Karen), Ricky Stewart (Bonnie Sweasy), Erik Stewart; grandchildren, Chelsea Stewart, Christen Stewart, Alexis Stewart, Kayleigh Stewart, Casden Stewart; and one great-grandson, Langston McQuillan; sisters, Denise Maloney (Bill) and Darlene Mattingly; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 pm Friday, November 29, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243 (in Middletown) with a celebration of Darryl's life to follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
In loving memory of Darryl, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus or the American Lung Association.
