Darrell Seaton

Darrell Seaton, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, hometown of Fordsville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Darrell was a proud member of the UAW Local 862, a Kentucky Colonel, and retired from Kentucky Truck Plant after 30 years of service. He enjoyed all things Ford, car racing, basketball games, hanging with his best friend Dave in his garage, his beloved dog Lacey and going to the Restaurant for his morning coffee and chatter at the Liars Table. Darrell was a member of East Fork Baptist Church.

He was born on March 2, 1940 in Fordsville, Kentucky to Curtis and Hazel (Griffith) Seaton. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Sister, Amanda Rusher.

Darrell is survived by his loving Wife of 54 years, Mary Seaton, whom he referred to as his beauty queen. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his Daughters, Mary Edel (Tina ) Seaton, Michelle (Timmy) Henson, and Renelle (Johnny) Miller, Sisters, Shirley (Rex) Coppage, Brenda (Arnold) Helm, and Jane Jones, Brother, Edsel Seaton, 7 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren. Plus a host of Nieces, Nephews, and many great Friends

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 10:00 am until service time. Darrell Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
