Darrell Gene Ott, 69, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He had a career as a barber that spanned over 35 years. Darrell was always upbeat with a great sense of humor, never meeting a stranger.

He was born on September 4, 1951, in Harrison County, Indiana, to Eugene and Sherrill (Ratliff) Ott. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his nephew, Jason Jones.

Darrell is survived by his children, Justin Ott (Leah) and Emily Seay (Chad); sister, Dana Ott; grandchildren, Luke and Logan Ott, Kaylie, Tamia, Londyn, and Rome Seay; niece, Savanna Baity (Shannon); and nephews, Jon, Josh (Devon), and Jacob Jones (Jessica).

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery.
