Darrell Cahill

Darrell Cahill, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Darrell was a prankster to his core and was always ready for a joke. He had a passion for cars and was a talented auto body mechanic for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching his Alma Mater UofL and sports. He was an avid animal lover and had an open door policy for any animal who needed help.

He was born on July 1, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Ginette (Louis) Cahill. He is preceded in death by his Father, William Patrick Cahill, Mother, Ginette Margaurite Cahill, Daughter, Tatiana Cahill, Siblings, Sharon, Billy, P.T., and Danny.

Darrell is survived by his loving family, Children, Laura (Brandon) Belcher, Darrell (Tabitha) Cahill, Cody Cahill, Catarina Cahill, and Levi Cahill; Grandchildren, Dillon Williams, Hallie Williams, Braxton Williams, Kaylee Williams, Zavier Hester, Ava Cahill, Ariana Miller, and Lilyana Miller; Siblings, Lillian, Patty, Joyce, Michael, and Charlie, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Darrell's memory be made to the family to assist with the cost of the funeral.
