Darlene Wolkow

Darlene Wolkow, 65, of West Point, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Darlene was an avid animal lover and always loved spending time with her family. She never met someone she didn't like. She loved her church family at River of Life Full Gospel and she was a faithful member for 19 years. Darlene will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on October 13, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ronald and JoAnn (Carter) Carter. She is preceded in death by her Father, Ronald Carter, Mother, JoAnn Carter, Siblings, Karen Burden and Keith Carter.

Darlene is survived by her loving Husband of 32 years, David M. Wolkow; Children, Stephanie S. Miller and Stephen M. Cox, Sr.; Grandchildren, Summer Miller, Ronald Miller, Stephen Cox, Jr., and Nevaeh Cox; Great-Grandchildren, Farrah Miller and Marcus Miller; Brothers, Bobby Carter and David Carter, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Darlene's memory be made to Dementia Society.
