Darlene Mary (May) Torp Wagoner

Darlene Mary "Dolly" (May) Torp Wagoner, 86, of Clarksville, Indiana, formerly of Floyds Knobs, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, knitting, and playing Bridge. Dolly was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was born on July 1, 1934, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, to the late Frank and Lucy (Monfils) May. Along with her parents, Dolly is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Wagoner; daughter, Patti Torp; grandchildren, Kathryn Torp, Nickolas Jacobs, and Jonas Longacre; her half-brothers, Orsen and Merlin "Sparky" May; and former husband, Jess "Dick" Torp.

Dolly is survived by her loving children, Michael (Sue) Torp, Bonnie (Jim) Naville, Chris (Lila) Torp, Paul (Elizabeth) Torp, Peter (Angie) Torp, and Laurie (David) Jacobs; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen in regards to Dolly's wishes. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane). Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, her Memorial Service will be held privately.
