Darlene Nell Cowley, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 27, 1944 to the late George and Grady Smith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Smith.
Darlene is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Charles Cowley; two children, Kelly Lynch and Kenny Lynch; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Pat (Fred) Ferguson; a brother, Kenny (Amy) Smith; several nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Gidget; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday July 10, 2016 and from 11:00 a.m. till service time on Monday both at the funeral home.
