Danny R. Taylor

Danny Reid Taylor, 68, of Otisco, Indiana passed away on January 19, 2017. Danny was born in Pewee Valley, Kentucky on December 21, 1948. He graduated from DuPont Manual High School in Louisville and then entered the Navy. Upon returning from the Navy, he went to work for a tire store in Louisville, eventually owning Big O Tires on Preston Highway.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, James P. and Evelyn Louise Dotson; and one sister, Debbie Johnson. He leaves his wife of 48 years, Helen Taylor; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Mary Anne Taylor; four grandchildren, Haleigh Taylor, Reid Taylor, Sebastian Taylor, and Aaron Ray; one brother, Jimmie Dotson; seven very special brothers and sisters-in-law and his endearing mother-in-law.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, January 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
