Danny Keith Spencer

Danny Keith Spencer, 63, passed away on August 29, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on October 22, 1962, in New Albany, Indiana.

Danny worked for Stap Industries in Louisville, Kentucky, where he spent many years as a welder. He was a man who enjoyed the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He also loved going to church and had a strong faith.

More than anything, Danny loved the time he spent with his family and friends. The memories made with him will be cherished forever by those who knew and loved him.

Danny is survived by his wife, Patricia Spencer; his son, Jacob Spencer; and his daughter, Brooklyn Spencer. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Rice; his brothers, Robert Spencer and his wife, Brenda, Howard Spencer and his wife, Laura, and Doug Spencer and his wife, Marilyn; and his sisters, Cathy Snider and her husband, Nelson, and Doris Isgrigg and her husband, Mark; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He leaves behind many loved ones who will continue to hold his memory close.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joe and Marie Spencer; his brothers, Charles Spencer and Eddie Spencer; and his sisters, Carol Giffin and JoAnn Autry.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, Indiana 47150. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will also be held on September 9, 2026, at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Danny will be remembered for his love of family, his faith, and the joy he found in the outdoors. His life touched many, and his memory will remain a blessing to all who knew him.
