Dannette Ann Sermon Flaherty

Dannette Ann Sermon Flaherty, 51, transitioned into her Forever Home on March 25th, 2022. She was born and raised in Louisville, KY. Dannette never met a stranger, and would always help someone in need. Her love and passion for animals is unmatched. She was adventurous, brave, loving, and hilariously funny. The world will never have another "Nanny like you. We will never experience a love greater than our Mother's Love. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Dannette was preceded in death by her Parents, William "Bill" & Doris Sermon.

Dannette is survived by her Biological Mother, Janet Shutters, Daughter, Ashley "Bunny" Sermon, Son, Tyler (Hailey) Sermon, Grandgirls, Maya Jenkins, Elliana Bliss, Willow Sermon, and Trae'lynn Thompson, Brother, Todd (Stacy) Sermon, and Best Friend, Phyllis and her Granddaughter Erika. Dannette also leaves behind to cherish her memory a Niece, Nephew, her beloved cats Atticus "Finch" and Neo and a host of Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
