Daniel Ward, 96, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020. Daniel served in the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine during World War II. He was loved by his family and friends.
He was born on January 16, 1924 in St Cloud, Minnesota to Charles and Christina (Kuefler) Ward. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Siblings, Marcellus Ward, Virginia Veeneman, Catherine Denison, Jerome Ward, Charles Ward, George Ward, Mary Ann Lavorante, Ralph Ward, and Jack Ward.
Daniel is survived by his loving Nieces, Nephews, and dear friends David (Kim) Cochran.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church (6901 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY). Graveside Services with Military Honors will be performed at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery.
