Daniel W. Vick

Daniel William Vick, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Daniel was avid UK fan who never missed a game. Early in life he enjoyed being out west camping with his friend Ray Hilbert. He was one of the top salesman at Zee Medical for many years. He did singing telegrams as many different characters. He had a louder than life personality and will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on October 14, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Kathleen (Schwalk) Vick. He is preceded in death by his Father, James W. Vick, Sr., Mother, Kathleen Vick, and Nephew, Robert Howlett.

Daniel is survived by his loving family, Daughter, Adrienne M. Vick; Granddaughter, Olivia Vick; Siblings, Constance (Doyle) Mitchell, Judy Smith, Jamie (Cheryl) Vick, and Jennifer Taylor; Nieces and Nephews, Johnathon Taylor, Samantha Sans, Micah James, Brittany Vick, Kasey Smith, Nick Smith, Kory Smith, and Kimberly Downey, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Daniel’s memory be made to his church St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church.
