Daniel Joel Pollom

Daniel Joel "Danny" Pollom, 70, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 with his daughter by his side. He was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville and the United States Air Force. Danny was an avid vinyl record collector, story teller, nature lover, and enjoyed walking his dogs. He will be remembered always as a loving husband, father, and brother.

He was born on July 17, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Vivian (Wilson) Pollom.

Danny is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy (May) Pollom; children, Emily (John Gorey) Pollom and Jeremy Pollom; and brother, David (Betty) Pollom.

Memorial Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service and military honors will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen in regards to Danny's wishes.
