Daniel Lee Childers, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center at Norton Hospital. He was born in St, Louis, Missouri on February 27, 1936 to the late Charles C. Childers and Louise Greenwell. He was a veteran in the United States Army was a retired truck driver.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Joan Elizabeth Childers ; children; Kimberly Eileen (Robert) Goodrich, Charles Childers, Timothy Childers and Tommy Childers; grandchildren, Tyler Benton, Daniel Childers, Brianna Childers and Leah Fike; and a host of other family members and friends.
Daniel's wishes were to be cremated and his life will be celebrated privately.
