He was born on December 19, 1957, in New Albany, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anita Leidolf Kays.
Danny is survived by his loving son, Colton (Matthew Rossmann) Kays; father, Oscar Kays; mother, Carolyn Wright Lindsey; sisters, Terri (Jeff) Kruer, Kathy (Bill) Dorsch, and Sherri (Dwayne) Lynn.
Cremation was chosen following Danny's wishes, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
