Daniel Paul Dunphy, 57, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness on October 26, 2016. Daniel was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 23, 1959. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee with his family as a child and to the Gulf Coast of Florida as an adult. Daniel was a skilled carpenter by trade and a musician throughout his life. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend to everyone he met.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Donald Dunphy. He is survived by his mother, Joy Dunphy; three brothers, Steven Dunphy, Donald Ullman and his wife, Lavetta Ullman, Matthew Dunphy and his wife, Carissa House-Dunphy; two sisters, Angie Sterr and her husband, David Sterr, Holly Jarrett and her husband, Dendy Jarrett; his nieces, Stephanie Dyer and Jody Jarrett; his nephews, Jake Jarrett and Vaughan Blair; a great-niece, Laurel Dyer; and a great-nephew, Nicholas Richards.
A memorial gathering of friends and family in Nashville will be planned at a later date.
