Damon Ray Elliott

Damon Ray Elliott, age 47 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. He grew up in New Haven, Kentucky and graduated from Larue County High School where he played football. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Damon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth "Pop" and Nola Christine "Granny" Elliott, and his maternal grandparents, Joffrey and Lucille Smith.

Damon is survived by his loving wife, Sara JoAnne Elliott; parents, Dan and Josephine Elliott; brother, Jason Elliott (Andrea); sister, Dana Sweeney (Chris); nephews, Justin Keatts, Chandler and Quentin Sweeney; niece, Raychel Sweeney; and a host of relatives and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Damon's life will be 1 to 4pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. Military Honors will be held at 4pm.
