Dale "Rabbit" Robbin Grider, 63, of Jamestown, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Rabbit was known as one of the most talented residential and commercial painters in Russell County. He had a strong work ethic and took pride in his work. Rabbit was a one of a kind soul filled with life, love and laughter for all of those around him. He loved his friends and family deeply and always remained young at heart. Rabbit was a strong fighter and battled cancer for nearly four years. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on August 17, 1961 in Somerset, Kentucky to Clyde and Nina (Beck) Grider. He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Allen Grider; mother, Nina Beck Grider; brothers, Donnie Grider, Kenny Grider; and sister, Linda Lawless.
Rabbit is survived by his loving family, life partner of 20 years (old lady), Karen Reeder-Peel; daughters, Samantha (John Cummins) Grider, Nicki (Charles Weston) Grider; step-daughters, Missy (Shane) Woosley, Candace (Billy) Tarrh, Megan Peel, Billie (Jonathan ) Scott; grandchildren, Madison (Alex) Bradshaw, Gage Hicks, Josh Hicks, Emma Grider, Gavin Grider, Audrianna Parrish, Khristian Grider, Kiara Parrish, Kiana Clark, Katie Tarrh, Daisy Boley, Chloe Woosley, Tiara Stargel, Levi Tarrh, Trevor Woosley, Jaden Scott, Rory Scott, Liam Woosley, Riley Scott; great-granddaughter, Lakyn Bradshaw; brother, Leland Grider; sister, Sharon Lawless; as well as a host of several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Lawless Family Cemetery on Freedom Church Road in Jamestown, Kentucky.
