Dale E. Lujan, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 15, 2018, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.
The San Francisco native was born to Edward A. and Beverly Cox Lujan and spent his formative years in the San Jose area. His business career with Spartan Chemical Company over 30 years took him from California to Oklahoma and to Ohio before he finally settled in his beloved Louisville, Kentucky.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Richard and Clyde. He is survived by Jeanne Ratliff Lujan, his wife of 37 years, his daughters Heather Luckett (Ben) and Victoria, and his grandson, Julian.
Other survivors are his brother Gary, nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will find him irreplaceable.
In addition to his family and cherished friends, chief among Dale's passions were the Street Rod Nationals and hunting with his friends at Habit Hill Farms in Philpott, Kentucky.
Dale's life was defined by devotion to his family, friends and career.
A celebration of Dale's life will be held at Northeast Christian Church, Student Center, 9900 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, KY at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018.
