Daisy Thelmavest Byrd

Daisy Thelma Vest Byrd, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She was a devoted and loving mother and very involved in her children's welfare, including her involvement in their PTA. Mrs. Byrd is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Francis Byrd; parents, Elza and Ethel Fern Williams Vest; sisters, Marie, Mary, Dorothy and Lillian; and brother, Patrick.

Mrs. Byrd is survived by her loving brother, Arthur (Sonny) Vest; and her children, Melissa and Russell; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 10am Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation will be 3-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
