D. Jane Hicks

D. Jane Hicks, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 1, 1935 to the late Walter and Sue Johnson. She was a member of the American Legion and Order of the Amaranth Kentucky Court 1.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Allen Hicks and a brother, William Hadlock.
Jane is survived by her children, Nena (Jack) Bard and Robin (Ellie) Hicks; grandchildren, Shelley (Samuel) Perez, Jeremy Bard, Joshua Bard, Nicholas (Kim) Hicks and Shane (Christina) Hicks; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be conducted Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
