Cynthia Sue (Roorda) Sanders, 67, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on August 26, 2014. Cindy was a member of Graceland Baptist Church, and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and doing genealogy.

She was born on May 5, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Willis and Dolores (Pabst) Roorda.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Dennis Sanders; children, Matthew Sanders (Stacy), Heather Graninger (Trey), Laura Agaba (Billy), Daniel Sanders; sisters, Penny Gillis, Pat Roorda; and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral will be celebrated at 2 PM on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dystonia Foundation (1 E Upper Wacker Drive, Chicago, Il 60601).
