Cynthia Jo Hertog

Cynthia Jo "Cyndi" Hertog, 63, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020. From a young age, Cyndi had a passion for riding and owning horses. She was a faithful IU fan and will be remembered by many young girls as an amazing Girl Scout leader. Cyndi's family will dearly miss their tradition of making Christmas cookies during the holidays and sharing them with everyone they loved.

She was born on February 8, 1957, in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late Isaac and Annabelle Stowell Pickhardt. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister.

Cyndi is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Paul Hertog; daughters, Chanda (Matt) Train and Janean (Ethan) Wagner; sister, Susan "Mitsi" Paquette; brother, Kristoper Pickhardt; and grandchildren, Annabella, Alexis, and Eli.

A Private Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow at Edwardsville (Tunnel Hill) Cemetery.
