C.W. "Jim" Glanz, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Jim was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He was past president and owner of C.H. Glanz Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. Jim held a Master's and Journeyman licenses in plumbing, heating/air and electrical; and was past-president of the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Association. He was a past Master of the Harry R. Kendall Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine. He was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Elva; son, Gary Glanz (Brenda); daughter, Gail Glanz (Tom Myers); two grandchildren, Christian and George Glanz; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10am-1pm on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with funeral ceremony to follow at 1pm there. Burial will be in Middletown Historic Cemetery.
