Cuma "Susie" Sauer

Cuma Theresa Sauer, born July 10th, 1958, to Verna Fritch & Lawrence Sauer passed in her sleep November 13, 2025. Born, and raised, in Louisville, KY; she grew up poor with 6 siblings but surrounded by love and family. She was a gift to anyone who met her. She was a sage, and a safe place where you could bare your heart and see no judgement in her eyes.

She is survived by her two daughters, Amy and Sarah Sauer; her sister, Gail Ritter; 6 granddaughters; two grandsons; 4 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and so many more family and friends that love her dearly.

Her service will be held at Newcomer, East Louisville Funeral Home (235 Juneau Dr 40243) on Thursday December 4th at 12:00 pm with a visitation starting 2 hours prior to the service at 10:00 am that morning.
