Craig Steven Uhl

Craig Steven Uhl, 61, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. He was born on February 15, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana. Craig loved cooking and had a passion for woodworking. He also enjoyed traveling and was an avid golfer. Above all of these things, his greatest joy was spending time with his loving grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley (Torstrick) Uhl; and his brother, Kevin Uhl.

Craig is survived by his daughter, Emily (Derek) Sherrell; son, Dylan Uhl; father, Donald (Louise) Uhl; his loving companion, Brenda Rickard; brother, Donnie (Bev) Uhl; sister, Paula (John) Jones; brother, David Uhl; brother, Tony (Kisoon) Uhl; brother, Neil (Michelle) Uhl; grandchildren, Hadley, Lucy, Eleanor, Josalyn, and Nate; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Public Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. His Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Cemetery in Navilleton.
