Craig Anthony Melcher, 47, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at U of L Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born on May 27, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky to Dennis and Sandra (Humpich) Melcher. He is preceded in death by his uncle, David Humpich. Craig was a 1992 PRP graduate and then went on to graduate from the U of L Speed School. He enjoyed volunteering as an Assistant Den Leader with Troop 190. Craig will always be remembered as being an avid sports fan, an amazing poker player, a dedicated loving husband brother and son and a loyal steadfast friend.
Craig is survived by his loving Wife of 13 years, Crystal (Lakes) Melcher, his parents, Dennis and Sandra Melcher, sister, Rachelle (Tony) McGrew, nieces and nephews, Brayton, Nathan and Parker Hasselback, Erin and Carter McGrew, along with numerous close friends that he considered brothers and sisters.
In lieu of services, there will be a celebration of life TBA at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Craig's memory be made to the Down Syndrome of Louisville.
