Cozetta "Cozy" R. Perkins, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 26, 2017.
Cozy was born on April 20, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky to the late Oriville and Imogene (Sanders) Read. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lynn Franklin Perkins.
Cozy is survived by children, Cherita Perkins-Davis (Lou) of Northern, KY, Melody Perkins-Ragland (David) of Georgetown, KY, Tony Perkins (Charlotte) of Louisville and Tim Perkins (Paula) of Shepherdsville, KY; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial in Jones Chapel Cemetery in Elk Horn, KY will follow services.
