Court Shane Cowherd Bratcher

Court Shane Cowherd Bratcher, 43, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Shane enjoyed playing basketball, listening to music, watching movies, and hanging out with his friends. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and his gift of making friends with everyone. Above all else, Shane's greatest joy was his precious daughter.

He was born on August 7, 1977, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Cowherd; and grandparents, Gilbert and Opal Bratcher.

Shane is survived by his daughter, McKauley Bratcher; mother, Deborah Lynn Bratcher; fiancée, Brooke Chance, sister, Heather (Mark) Cowherd; brother, Norman (Jess) Hulker; brother, Nick Cowherd; other siblings, Michael (Lisa) Bratcher and Dawn (Paula) Ratliff-Bratcher; nephew, Cameron Blanton; niece, Shelby Blanton; and uncles, Norman (Rena) Bratcher and Gilbert (Maggie) Bratcher, Jr.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
