Cora M. (Taylor) Swindell

Cora M. (Taylor) Swindell , 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022. She was a 1956 graduate of Male High School and retired from the University of Louisville as an Accounts Manager. Cora was a longtime member of Highland Park First Baptist Church.

She was born on January 12, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to Miles and Marie (Whobrey) Taylor. Cora is survived by her husband, Sam Swindell; daughters, Marilyn Hood, Sandi Saling, Debbie Feeler (Phil), Becky Watts (J.B.); sister, Joyce Robey; grandchildren, Brad Miller, Brittany Miller, Sybby Dischinger, Levon Dischinger; and great-grandchildren, Tatum and Olivia Dischinger.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
