Cooper Luke Yarborough

Cooper Luke Yarborough, born on September 14, 1999, departed this world on June 15, 2025. He was a vibrant soul, whose presence brought laughter and joy to those fortunate enough to know him. Cooper’s life, though brief, was filled with rich experiences and cherished moments.

Professionally, Cooper was dedicated to his role at Derby City Gaming. He thrived within the collaborative environment, consistently showcasing his ability to be a good team player. His passion for his work reflected in his engagement with events, leaving a lasting impression on both colleagues and patrons alike.

Outside of work, Cooper was known for his infectious humor, always armed with a good joke that could elicit laughter and brighten the day of anyone around him. His sarcastic wit was a hallmark of his personality, endearing him to friends and family.

Cooper loved spending time with his family, making memories that will be treasured forever. His hobbies included playing cornhole and enjoying barbecues, moments that encapsulated his love for community and camaraderie. A true enthusiast of gaming, Cooper achieved a significant personal milestone when he built his first gaming computer, a proud accomplishment that underscored his passion for technology.

He was preceded in death by brother, Michael Cotton.

Cooper leaves behind to cherish his memories his parents, Sherrie Avalos and Nathan Day; siblings, Shane Yarborough, Dylan "MIA" Day and Skyler Day and his grandparents, Robin Reffner, Missy Hall, Brian Hall and Laura Cristan.
