Constance "Connie" Joy Kraus Scheitlin of Louisville Kentucky and Venice Florida passed away Monday, April 18, 2022.
She was born on November 21, 1949 to the late Albert P Kraus and Esther Joy (Sulzer) Kraus in Louisville, Kentucky. She worked in real estate most of her life, as an agent, broker and eventually as financial director for Coldwell Banker in Florida. She enjoyed traveling, racquetball and golf. She shared her time and expertise serving on multiple community boards. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles J Scheitlin.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Brittany Hamon Lowe (Michael); three granddaughters, Kelsey, Cassie and Sydney; her sister, Joyce Kraus Mudd; her brother, Fred Kraus (Diane); several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; as well as two step-children and four step-grandchildren.
The family will be having a private viewing and committal service. They request that contributions in Connie's memory be made to NAMI or RAINN.
