Constance (Brown) Oberhausen

March 13, 1926 — February 17, 2015

Constance (Brown) Oberhausen, 88, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville and a current member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Jeffersonville.

Connie was born on March 13, 1926 to the late Edward and Florence (Baker) Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Oberhausen; daughter, Susan Oberhausen; and brothers, Vernon and Edward Brown. She is survived by her children, David (Barbara Finn), Joan Brooks (Darryl), Maria, James (Ben Ko), Teresa, Paul (Jacqueline), Joseph (Leslie); sister-in-law, Marie Clemens; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Rosary being prayed at 3 PM. Visitation will continue after 9 AM on Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (1840 E. Eighth Street, Jeffersonville) with her Funeral Mass being celebrated at 11 AM. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
