Connie Cissna Morris

Connie Cissna Morris, age 77 of Louisville Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 surrounded by family. Connie was born in Louisville KY on February 11, 1947. She was a graduate of Mercy Academy. She attended the University of Louisville where she studied criminal justice. She also worked as a pretrial officer with the Department of Corrections for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl L and Cornelia Muntan Cissna, her brother Carl L. "C.L." Cissna, daughters Sherry Ann & Carey Len Morris.

Connie is survived by her husband of 56 years Leonard A. "Whitey" Morris; sons, Jeffrey L Morris and Ronald L. Morris; siste,r Teresa Cissna Renninger (Bill); grandsons, whom she loved fiercely and was proud of each of their accomplishments, Alex, Chandler, Cody, Zachary, Aidan; and also great grandson Kaesyn Jay. Connie is also survived by several nieces and nephews that she was equally proud of; and a host of family and friends.

It was Connie's wish to be cremated and she did not want anyone to fuss over her, so there will be no visitation or services. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
