Connie Dianne Caldwell

Connie Dianne Caldwell, 68, passed away on September 23, 2023, in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on December 24, 1957, in Manchester, Kentucky, and was the daughter of William “Billy” Caldwell and Mary Payne.

Connie was a proud graduate of New Albany High School and later continued her education by taking college courses at Indiana University Southeast. She worked for many years with the United States Postal Service, where she ultimately retired. Her hardworking and honest nature reflected the values she carried with her throughout her life.

She will be remembered as a devoted daughter and as a compassionate cousin and friend to many. Connie loved her cats and found joy in making jewelry. A woman of deep faith, she cherished her time at the Clarksville Kingdom Hall and valued the fellowship she shared with her brothers and sisters in faith. Her steady character, kindness, and sincere devotion to those around her left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, William “Billy” Caldwell, and her mother, Mary Payne.

Her memory will be held with affection by her extended family, her cousins, her friends, and her faith community. She will be remembered for her warmth, her integrity, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, October 10, 12:00pm, at Clarksville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 8409 County Line Rd, Sellersburg, IN 47172.

A gathering will follow the service. The location will be shared with attendees at the conclusion of the service.
