Connie Bland

Cornelia (Connie) Bland, age 77, died peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home in Shepherdsville, KY on June 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Polly Judd, and her husband Charles (Eddie) Bland.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Jesse) Ballard, William (Mike) Bland, and Shady Ballard. As well her siblings, Dodie Judd, Rusty Judd, Anna Carr, Lee Judd, Sissy Mefford, James Judd, David Judd, and Jackie Miller. She also leaves behind 5 grand children and 4 great grandchildren.

Connie retired as a nursing professional at the Louisville KY Veterans Affairs Robley Rex Hospital, and enjoyed casino's, bingo, traveling, and spending time with her family.

A gathering to celebrate Connie's life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 12:30 pm until 3:00 pm, at Newcomer Funeral Services, 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville KY 40243 (Middletown).
