Colleen Annette Thompson

Colleen Annette Thompson, 49, of Hudson, Kentucky, formerly of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Colleen spent her entire life taking care of others. She spent 25 years as an EMT servicing Jefferson and Breckinridge Counties. Colleen was known her infectious smile, kind, selfless heart, and one of a kind sense of humor. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, and Friend to so many. Colleen will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born on December 3, 1972 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert & Jacqueline (King) Fowler. She is preceded in death by her Parents and Brother, Robert Leroy Fowler, Jr.

Colleen is survived by her loving Husband of 17 years, Jason Thompson, Sons, Connor (Destiny) Vogt, Joseph Vogt (Emma Beverage), Isaiah Vogt (Rhiannon Ball), Daniel Vogt, and Zachary Thompson, Sister, Miranda "Mandy" (Ted) Franzman, Nieces, Brandi Fowler, Stephanie Fowler, Jessica Fowler (Derek McBirth), Kara Franzman, and Jenna Franzman, Great-Nephew, Benjamin McBirth, her Bubby, Adam Arredondo (Ed Wells), and Friends who were considered her Family, Rosendo & Jane Arredondo. Colleen also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Colleen 's memory be made to the Funeral Home to help with Funeral Expenses.
