Coleman Lewis Townsend, 23, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017. He was a graduate of the Class of 2012 of Silver Creek High School.
He was born on January 24, 1994, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Chester and Theresa (Pierce) Townsend. Coleman was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathy Pierce.
Along with his parents, Coleman is survived by his sister, Lacee Townsend; and his son, Carter Townsend.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Cremation will follow according to Coleman's wishes.
