Colan G. Trulock, age 83, of Prospect, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016, after a long battle with Alzheimers. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the Masons, Kosair Shrine and the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of Epiphany Methodist Church and retired from Phillip Morris. Colan was also a proud Kentucky Colonel, was an avid reader and enjoyed wordworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Greta Trulock; and a brother, John Trulock.
Colan is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Loretta; his son, Douglas Trulock; grandson, Dylan Trulock; step-daughters, Kathy Swinnigan and Bonnie Strietelmeier; four step-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to our dear friends, Bob and Julie Imhof, for their support during this long journey.
A memorial celebration of Colan's life will be Saturday, November 12th at 2:30pm at Christ Church at Goshen, 12001 W U.S. Hwy 42, Goshen, KY 40026.
A private burial will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery.
