Clyde Hertweck, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
He was born on December 20, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to Jerry and Marie Hertweck. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Hertweck.
Clyde retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years. He was an avid UK fan, a long time announcer for PRP athletics and enjoyed spending time at rough river with his family. Clyde loved supporting all his grandchildren in all their sporting activities.
Clyde is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pamela Hertweck, children, Robert (Tobi) Hertweck and Cindy (James) Watson, grandchildren, Haley Watson, Paige Hertweck, Hanna Watson, Jagger Hertweck and Jamie Watson,
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Clyde will be laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery following the service.
The family requests that contributions in Clyde's memory be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
