Clinton Forest Love lost his hard-fought battle with Covid-19 and passed away at the University of Kentucky Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was 55 years old. Clint was the beloved husband of Lori Love (Hallberg) and was a funny, talented, hardworking man who was liked by all who knew him. Clint was born in Dexter, Iowa, and lived in Redfield and Des Moines, where he worked in the food service industry until meeting his wife and moving to Louisville in 1998. He was a woodworker and cabinet maker. He worked for several cabinet shops in Louisville. If you eat at a Texas Roadhouse in the US and abroad, you will likely be sitting at a table and bar that he made. He also delivered pizza at Papa Johns. Clint coached Highview Little League Baseball for many years, loved going to Disney World with family and made it an annual event. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf, grilling, making wood intarsia and other projects, and just spending time with family and friends.
Clint is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lori; his son, Brandon; daughters Grace and Holly (Joe Devore); mother, Jennie Frederiksen (Larry); father-and-mother-in-law, Roy and Linda Hallberg; sister, Bambi Gish; brother, Jeff Love; brother-and-sisters-in-law, Brian Hallberg (Cassie); Amy Alonzo (Jason); Mandy Hallberg; grandchildren, Paige, Chase and Mason; nieces and nephew, Victoria, Carlie, Reese, Hayley, Brynn, and Cameron; and many friends who greatly miss him every day.
A gathering to celebrate Clint's life will be held 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
Memorials may be made to Louisville Metro Animal Services or Kentucky Humane Society, in Clint's name, as he was a great supporter of all animals who need a loving home.
