Clifford Townsend Kuppinger

June 7, 1927 — February 8, 2014

Clifford Townsend Kuppinger, 86, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was retired from the military after 22 years of service he still met with and kept in touch with his military buddies. His passion was hunting and fishing; this passion took him to all 50 states and he was an avid reader. He also came from a railroad family in the Northwest and kept railroads in his life with his model railroads. He was very involved in the community politically. His family was very important to him and Cliff was a father figure to his nieces and nephews; his biggest lesson to everyone was "Don't sweat the small stuff."

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marie Kuppinger; 2 sisters, Adeline McIntyre and Mary Lawrence; 2 brothers, Robert Kuppinger and Claude Kuppinger and niece, Judy McIntyre.

He is survived by his nephews, Alan McIntyre and Ray Lawrence; nieces, Dora McIntyre, Lisa Lawrence and Maria Claudon and many great-nephews and great nieces.

A private memorial service will be held in Seattle, Washington at a later date.
