Cleta Thomas, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Cleta retired from Pillsbury after 42 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, and cooking for friends and family. Cleta enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was born on July 18, 1948 in Columbia, Kentucky to Clyde and Eula (Gentry) Pike. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers, Buford Pike, Eldridge Pike, and Dillard Pike, and Sister, Veleta Duvall.
Cleta is survived by her loving Husband of 24 years, Curtis Thomas, Son, Jim (Laura) Stewart, Daughter, Sandi (Doug) Mullikin, Son, Chuck (Patti) Stewart, Daughter, Chelsea (Chaz) Walker, Brothers, Euen (Lillie) Pike, and Norbert (Daisy) Pike, Grandchildren, Allison Stewart, Sarah Stewart, Tiffany (Bo) Blilie, Emily Mullikin, Brittany Stewart, Chaz Walker, Jr., Chloe Walker, and Curtis Walker. Cleta also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Visitation will resume on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 12:00 pm until the time of Services at Valley View Church (8911 3rd St. Road) Cleta's Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Valley View Church with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, Mount Washington.
